Just thought I'd link here to the last video I made. Lindsay and me making sushi :o) Sorry about the weird picture of sushi that fades in in the middle...it was supposed to be in the exact middle so that it would be the display pic for that video but the timing was off *sigh* But it's my picture from a few sushi nights ago. YUM!

That's right...I'm updating my blog with information that is already known by the few people who read it. But whatever, how often do you get to do a post about being engaged?? Joel asked me last weekend in a very romantic log cabin after our favourite supper of pizza and wine and after a previous night of getting soaking wet in a tent in the rain. The log cabin was certainly welcoming after that.

In other news that is not quite as exciting, my best friend and dog of 14 years has been put to sleep because of kidney failure. It all happened pretty quickly, she went downhill very fast. I was cooking a special meal for her that she seemed to be enjoying, but she stopped eating it and 3 days later we knew it was the end. She wouldn't even eat her favourite treat, cheese. Ginger was the best dog ever and although I am finding it extremely difficult to deal with her death, I have great support and beautiful memories that will last me forever. I know she had a long, happy life full of love and that is the best thing a pet can be given.
